Commitment to
Dignity

Whether a member chooses to serve as a chapter officer, or represent AOII as a member of other campus or community organizations, there are numerous opportunities to develop leadership skills as a member of AOII.

Commitment to
Scholarship

AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Letter from the President

Welcome to the Alpha Chi chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi! Since 1965, we’ve been a part of the WKU community, inspiring and empowering each other to grow both personally and professionally. AOII is a place where you’ll be supported in discovering and becoming the best version of yourself. For me, AOII has been a transformative experience. When I joined as a freshman, my sisters saw potential in me that I hadn’t yet recognized. They believed in me, supported me, and helped me step into leadership roles that changed my life. Their encouragement allowed me to grow in ways I never thought possible, and it’s because of them that I found the confidence to take on new challenges and become a stronger leader. What I’ve found here is a sisterhood that stands beside me through every season of life. The bond we share isn’t just for the time we spend at WKU—it’s one that will continue to grow long after college. As one of our founders, Stella George Stern Perry, so beautifully said, “We cared so profoundly for one another that we unconsciously desired a society based upon original feeling, something peculiar to that deep friendship, something more earnest than a mere social decoration. We felt that as love never faileth, a future on that foundation was assured.” This is the heart of AOII—a sisterhood built on unwavering love and support that will last beyond these college years.Roses & Go Tops!
