Local Philanthropy & Service

In addition to raising money and awareness for arthritis and related diseases, our sisters recognize the importance of giving back in many other ways.

Every year AOII Alpha Chi hosts multiple events that benefit our philanthropy, The Arthritis Foundation. Our most popular event is called WKU's Got Talent and it is a talent show that anyone has the opportunity to participate in and show off their talent! We created this event in honor of our sister Landon Lovett who passed away in 2012 and the proceeds go to our philanthropy as well as a charity of the Lovett family's choice. Other events include the amazingly fun Mud Volleyball and this year will be the first annual Spike Out Arthritis in its place!

Reaching out into the community and serving others is one of our most important focuses in Alpha Chi. Our motto is to exceed the expectations and we believe that this goes beyond our campus. Each and every one of us has done a multitude of volunteer service anywhere from volunteering at the BG 10K, which is Bowling Green's most popular marathon, to expanding our horizons and participating in mission trips around the world. We try our best every day to make a difference and it's amazing to be able to do that not only through out philanthropy, but through our community as well!
